What counts as a query?

Any successful POST to /v1/search. Failed requests (4xx / 5xx) are not billed.

Do scopes cost differently?

Most scopes count as 1 query. Image, video, podcast and includeRawContent options add credits proportional to the work — exact rates are in the docs.

Can I cap monthly spend?

Yes. Set a hard budget cap in your dashboard; requests above it are rejected rather than billed.

Do you offer annual commitments?

Yes — 20% off for committed annual contracts; talk to sales.

What is your data retention policy?

Default query-log retention is used for debugging and abuse prevention. Enterprise customers can request shorter retention or special handling by agreement.
