Privacy Policy

How SiftQ handles website, playground, API, and operational data.

Updated

June 4, 2026

This policy explains what data SiftQ may process, why it is processed, and how we keep the current contact and compliance posture conservative while the service matures.

Who operates SiftQ

SiftQ is operated by FUTURE STUDY SPACE PTE. LTD.. This policy applies to the SiftQ website, API documentation, playground, and related product surfaces published at https://siftq.com.

This page is a product-facing privacy notice, not a negotiated customer agreement or legal opinion.

Data we may process

Website usage data, such as pages visited, referring URLs, browser metadata, approximate network information, and analytics events.

Playground and API request data, such as query text, selected scope, request parameters, returned result metadata, latency, status code, and operational logs needed for debugging, abuse prevention, and reliability.

Local browser data, such as values stored in localStorage by the playground UI. API keys shown in the demo UI are intended to stay local to the browser unless explicitly sent through the server-side API flow.

Communications data only when a working contact channel is available and you choose to send it. The public inbox [email protected] is currently reserved but not active yet.

Why we process data

To provide and secure the website, documentation, playground, and API proxy.

To measure product usage, diagnose failures, prevent abuse, understand reliability, and improve retrieval quality.

To respond to business or support requests once an active contact channel is published.

Retention

Operational logs may be retained for a limited period for debugging, reliability, analytics, and abuse-prevention purposes.

Enterprise retention commitments, shorter retention periods, or special handling for sensitive workloads must be agreed in writing. Do not assume immediate deletion or special retention terms unless they appear in a signed agreement.

Third-party services

The site may use infrastructure, analytics, hosting, CDN, logging, and upstream search services to operate the product.

Search results may include public web content and links controlled by third parties. SiftQ does not control the privacy practices of those external websites.

International processing

SiftQ is operated from Singapore and may use service providers or infrastructure outside your country. Where required, transfer and processing terms should be handled through the applicable customer agreement or DPA.

Your choices

Avoid submitting secrets, regulated personal data, private prompts, or confidential customer data through public demos unless your agreement allows that use.

When a working contact channel is published, you may request access, correction, deletion, or other privacy assistance subject to applicable law and account verification.

Contact status

The reserved public inbox [email protected] is not active yet. Until it is active, contact-related links point to /about#contact and should be treated as a placeholder.
